BALANCE & MOVEMENT CLASS

This Functional Movement class is designed to strengthen your body for functional daily living with the over-arching perspective on how balance affects movement and vice-versa.

Exercises are modified for each client and can be performed in sitting and standing positions.

Learn to strengthen and stabilize your frame, and condition your muscles, support weight-bearing and light loading for your shoulders, hips and back.

An initial assessment is required for this class.

   * Max. 6 participants

SPINE CARE CLASS

This pilates-based workout is designed for clients with spinal degeneration, hip or knee issues who want to workout, strengthen and support their problematic areas without exacerbating their issues. 

A private assessment is mandatory, and one-on-one monitoring sessions are recommended to complement your workout. We also recommend you bring in a doctor or physiotherapist assessment to help us with comprehensive programming.

TASK works alongside other therapists in the community to help re-enforce treatment plans, new movement patterning and strengthening. When starting a program at TASK we encourage you to seek out your trusted medical and therapeutic practitioners to get their advice as well. The more reports, xrays, medical data you can supply concerning your issues, the clearer the picture is for us as well.
